Trillium Construction Services is actively recruiting for HVAC Technicians for temp-to-hire positions in Burlington, VT area. Pay: Upto $28-$30/hour.
Job Description
We are seeking a full-time Commercial/Industrial Jjourneyman HVAC Service Technicians for immediate work.
Maintain, repair, and replace air conditioning equipment of the reciprocating, centrifugal, and absorption types, including related electrical motors (open and hermetic) and respective controls, including calibration of equipment, gauges, and controls, handling of refrigerant, and refrigerant charging of systems.
Maintain, repair, and replace hot water, condenser, and chilled water systems, including pumps, control valves, heat exchangers, cooling towers, and related controls.
Maintain, repair, and replace air-moving, heating, cooling, humidification, and filtering equipment and systems such as fans, heat pumps, fan coil units, rooftop package air conditioning units, computer room cooling units, solar panels, electronic and pneumatic modulating thermostats, and pressure and volume controls.
Maintain, repair, and replace low- and high-pressure boilers used for heating and cooling of air including combustion and control systems.
Maintain, repair, and replace equipment related to heating and cooling, such as air compressors, air dryers, and associated controls.
Perform preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance. Lubricate fans, motors, pumps, dampers, and operating hardware. Replace belts on fans. Repair and/or replace insulation. Clean bearings, fan housings, fan squirrel cages or other impellers, air conditioning units, fan and mechanical rooms
Qualifications
- At least 7 years Commercial/Industrial HVAC service experience required.
- EPA 608 Type I; EPA 608 Type II; EPA 608 Type III; EPA 608 Universal certifications a plus.
- OSHA 10 Certification helpful.
- Must be able to pass a background check AND a drug test.
- Journeyman HVAC License; Master HVAC License
