Job Description
General Laborers needed for all shifts at one of East Moline’s finest warehouses. Candidates must be able to work 12 hour shifts! Must be able to stand and lift for long periods of time. You will be picking orders by matching numbers from lists - so the ability to accurately match is required. Duties may also include Light Assembly. Basic math skills, reasoning, and visual matching skills will be tested. Successful candidates must have basic computer, fluent English, strong reading comprehension and ability to match numbers, as well as have experience with hand tools such as drills, hammers, pliers, and wrenches. Microsoft Office experience and former forklift experience preferred. This is a fast-paced environment. There is potential to be hired!
Qualifications
Must be able to work either 1st, 2nd o r 3rd shift 12 hour shifts - you will be assigned based on COMPANY decision. Excellent hand-eye coordination required Good communication skills - requires fluency in English Ability to lift and exert maximum muscle force to push, pull, or carry objects Ability to pass a Light Industrial assessment administered by Trillium that includes math, reasoning, and visual skills, as well as an assessment specific to the assignment, administered by the client The qualified candidate must also be able to compile, code, categorize, and verify data Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word skills are a plus Forklift experience in the last six months is a plus Basic computer experience (data entry) and hand tools experience a must. Must be able to pass a criminal background check and a drug screen
