Job Description

Trillium Staffing is seeking Production Technicians/Machinists with varying levels of skills and responsibilities to work in a fast paced environment!  Production Technicians will ensure that all procedures are being followed, make up tool change schedules, and assist in the training of new machine operators. 

We are currently seeking 3 levels of Production Technicians whom will report to the Production Supervisor.  Each level varies on skills and responsibilities. 

Primary Job Duties for ALL Levels (I, II, III):
-Be involved in all tool changes
-Complete required reports to help monitor continuous improvements
-Perform and document OMP and TPMs
-Enter work orders to correct maintenance issues
-Conduct purges according to procedures to contain bad parts
-Understand and apply CMM readouts and gage reports
-Uses gages and instruments to check parts and tooling
-Set up and operate CNC machines, dials, transfer lines or other machines
-Enter scrap and production data in to computer systems and audit for accuracy
-Enter, read and publish production data and shift notes
-Attend scheduled CIT meetings and PCL meetings to ensure good communication at all levels
-Complies to OSHA Safety Standards

Additional Job Duties for Levels II & III:
-Advanced tool setups using specialized equipment (Level II & III)
-Perform basic CNC program writing and editing (Level II & III)
-Calculates proper speeds and feeds on machinery (Level II & III)
-Re-zero spindles (Level II & III)
-Program alternate tooling (Level III)
-Optimize CNC programs to reduce cycle time or improve quality (Level III)

Qualifications

ALL Production Tech Levels (I, II, III) must possess:
-High school diploma or GED
-Decision-making, leadership and analytical skills
-Basic computer skills
-Forklift License

Additional Qualifications for Level II & III:
-Intermediate machine controls knowledge (Level II & III)
-Basic Op Ex Training required (Level II & III)
-Advanced blue print reading (Level III)
-40 hours training on CNC programming, controls or equivalent (Level III)
