Trillium Staffing is looking for an experienced CNC Tool Grinder.
Job Description
Experienced CNC Tool Grinder needed! The qualified candidate must have in depth knowledge and experience with ANCA Grinders.
Qualifications
Qualified candidates must possess:
-Ability to set up and operate RG7 &/or GX7 ANCA Tool and Cutter Grinders
-Knowledgeable of Walters Helitronic 45.
-Basic computer skills, familiar with saving and retrieving program files
-Minimum 3 years of hands-on CNC grinding experience. (not machining)
-Manual cutter grinding a plus
-Proficient with precision measuring instruments and cutting tool geometry for different types of materials
-Capability of running complete tools from solid carbide rod or high speed steel blanks as well as refurbishing existing cutters
-Working knowledge of speeds and feeds for diamond, CBN and conventional sand wheels and have own basic tooling: 0”-1” micrometer, test indicator, basic 6” scale and calipers
-Strong math skills and a solid understanding of fractions and decimals
-Ability to comprehend geometric dimensioning and tolerances
-Ability to read and understand blueprints, and measure and record tolerances to .0001” with accuracy
